While I was training with Sasaki Sensei, a Shinto priest, he often spoke of the power of language. He said have you ever noticed how people in prison communicate? They are often guttural, vulgar, abrasive, mean, and violent. If you look at those that are educated or in high society, their language is very precise, prim and proper. It is almost as if their language creates their reality or environment.
This idea is the basis for neuro linguistic programming (NLP), Tony Robbin’s Neuro-Associative Conditioning, self-talk, as well as affirmations. Dr. John F. Demartini speaks about Paul Bragg who gave him an affirmation, when he was 17 years old. He was told to say, “I am a genius, and I apply my wisdom.” He has said it every day for over 30 years, and he claims it to be the source of his success. Today, if you read his books, such as How to Make a Hell of a Profit, and Still Get to Heaven, you will find tons of affirmations throughout.
This self-talk is inherit to our minds as human beings. They say that we have anywhere from 12,000 to over 50,000 individual thoughts on any given day. The question is, how do we talk to ourselves. What is our most dominant thought? What thought gets repeated over and over, training our brain and our instincts?

Balance & Equilibrium
Through the study of science and nature, you can see that everything tries to conserve energy and stay in a state of equilibrium or balance. In oriental medicine, we look at yin and yang. Yin is considered more feminine or passive, while yang is much more aggressive or masculine. We all have a certain level of energy we maintain, and a balance of yin and yang traits.
Through studying in Dr. John F. Demartini’s Concourse of Wisdom and Healing, has taught that we all have every trait. These traits are may be expressed or repressed in any of the 7 areas of life (spiritual, physical, mental, vocational, financial, social and familial). These individual traits may be considered good or bad, positive or negative, right or wrong, a benefit or drawback. These traits can only be judged to be good or bad, based upon someone’s own, individual value system.
Under a different set of circumstances a trait that is typically repressed, may be beneficially or appropriately expressed to our benefit. But, truly all traits serve us and we just view them in a certain light. In order to reach our goals it is best to learn to love all of these traits and be able to adapt and utilize them naturally according to the situation.
Many people think that one should always be nice. But, have you ever had the experience of being too nice, and being walked upon?? Have you ever experienced being harsh with someone and later regretting it?? Actually, whether nice or mean, however we are being serves us and serves others. Recognizing this, it would best serve us to be able to pick and choose the trait that allows us to reach our goals as quickly as possible. Learning to apply traits that we normally repress may bring us to a new and higher state of chaos, which will bring us new lessons.

Dr. Albright and Dr. Demartini Denver Metro Meetup
I have been given the privilege of being an assistant organizer of the Work of John Demartini - Denver Metro Meetup. I have been working with Bill Brakemeier head of Life Mastery Institute for over 5 years on Dr. Demartini's work from the Concourse of Wisdom and Healing. This Meetup is our way of spreading the word about Dr.Demartini's work and how it can change your life.
I've taken Dr. Demartini's seminar, The Breakthrough Experience, several times here in Denver. I've taken all of Bill's seminars including Master Planning for Life, and A Day of Courage, and Camp Mojo.
Here's a quick descriptor from our Meetup site:
Come join us to explore the principles, insights and proven tools of Dr John Demartini.
If you've read his work or attended his seminars you know that he's a world leading inspirational speaker and author at the forefront of the burgeoning personal and professional development industry. His scope of knowledge and experience is a culmination of 34 years of research and studies of more than 28,000 texts into over 200 different disciplines ranging from psychology, philosophy, business growth, theology, neurology and physiology.
I would be happy to run anyone through a transformation session to apply the technology that Dr. Demartini has developed. It has changed my life and can change yours as well.
Dr. Albright is available for consultations and may be reached at 303-322-5015. To learn more about him visit www.whosyoursensei.com, www.rockymtnwellness.com, and www.craikido.com

Who's Your Sensei??
I'm sure many of you have seen the wonderfully, hilarious movie Napoleon Dynamite. Well, It's not my intention to become an instructor or REX KWON DO, or to register you in a self defense class. Though I teach traditional Japanese martial arts, I am much more than your average strip mall franchise fitness or babysitting martial arts school instructor.
I take my role seriously. I try to fill the shoes of my master instructors, living the lifestyle and sharing the wisdom of the ancients with all of those I come in contact. My instructors were shinto priests, authors, self-help gurus, spiritual leaders and international speakers all rolled into one.
I started on my path of becoming a well-rounded individual and Sensei when I was 12 years old. I knew that life was more than punching and kicking, and realized the need to have both sides of every coin. I delved into the duality of man, and knew I was to be a healer and a martial artist.
Today I have a wellness practice where I assist people with their physical ailments through Japanese Acupuncture and gentle chiropractic. I also teach the traditional Japanese arts of aikido and iaido. Perhaps, most importantly I share and help guide people through challenging times and events to help them realize their potential to live the life they would love.
Some of my greatest spiritual mentors have been Masando Sasaki, Tempu Nakamura, Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and Dr. John F. Demartini. People that hire me to consult with them find that I employ techniques and distinctions from them all.
The concept of Balance through Yin and Yang is at the core of what I do. I lead people through a process of balancing perspectives, and balancing there lives.
More to come, but for now check out the links to our websites to learn more or Call 303-322-5015 to receive a FREE consultation to see how I might be able to help you.
